Wow, I have just paid my last installment of R2500 on the 31 March. Yesterday and today I received SMSes that threaten me that my fully paid account is handed over to the lawyers because of non-payment. mind you some lady from wonga called me on the week of 25th March 2020, where I indicated that I am making a manual(EFT) payment on the 31st, she promised that that would be captured as such. I am done been harrassed by wonga, first payment I may on the 6th January 2020(paid in the ABSA branch in Harrismith), the second one 31st January 2020(EFT), third payment February 2020(EFT), finally payment 31st March 2020(EFT). To make matters worse, I have that the been making 2 previous manual payments which were acknowledged by the pestering collections department personnel. like they normally claim, calls are recorded, so if anyone is confused and required to investigate this matter, please do e a favour a listen to all my cellphone call conversations. if wonga does not update my credit record by close of business on Tuesday next week, I will log a complaint with the courts and consumer protection ombudsman and every institution until wonga is completely destroyed, i.e. out of business. Please don't give me stories about coronavirus lockdown, because I still receive phone calls and text messages from wonga. Im a disgusted and utterly annoyed by wonga. i paid my loan in full, but instead my record is distroyed and im listed as a slow payer, i mean this is bull**** and it ends now!!!!
