Shoddy standards: three-year-long snag list issues

I chose the most simple eco house on offer from Wolf and Wolf Architects. Oliver Wolf initially used the house as a showpiece so was available to fix certain snags. Unfortunately there have been leaks every time it has rained and he has, for three years, taken weeks to get to site and then fixed the bare minimum and in most cases the incorrect thing (despite my telling him exactly where the water is coming in). He brings in contractors who fix one thing and cause more damage in the process and he has not repaired any of that damage. And still he persists in telling me to waterproof the very thing I have now thrown thousands of Rands at to my own contractors ... to no avail because he is not fixing the real issue - because it is difficult and probably too costly for him to fix. I have now given up on his ever resolving this ... after three years, I think any contractor should have completed a building snag list, especially if the same person who built the house also designed it.
