Hidden cost and ************* staff

I went to Wizardz in Gardens centre in Cape town, I wanted to print a double sided card the size of a business card. This guy said that they can not print on both sides unless a designer costing R75 extra lays it out, then proceeds to tell me that they can only print one business card size image per R17 A4 sheet. Now this was already fishy, so I decided to ask them to scan a A3 image, They ask R120, just to scan a image, claiming that they can not just scan the image, but can only scan the entire A2 paper. So I left and did the scanning, double sided printing and cutting on my campus normal printer and computer and saved R250. Later I went back to get the cards I printed laminated and the scan I scan printed on a sticker, R10 a sticker, and R8 a A4 lamination, I come to pay, no it's R148 in total, just how did he accumulate this amount? because mathematically it should be R46. No they charge for cutting the lamination, that's a whole other story, they cut it so close to the cards I can't use it and need to re-print and cut it and laminate it not there!!!
