Wits University refund

So in 2019 I app**** to study at wits university and this is what happened. During my application I had to pay an application fee right. So I ask my dad to do it for me. He then payed R1000 instead of R100 and because of that I could not complete my application, I was trying to get a refund. I tried multiple times with no success. In January I went to the campus in Braamfontein to enquire about this issue and they told me that since I app**** online I should apply for the refund online. I did as I was told but it is October of 2020 and I never received a refund I app**** for in January. A part of me feels like they make the refund process hard on purpose.
