Wits appalling Service

I have registered online as a part time student at WITS and my application was successful. I have then tried to contact the administrator assigned to me to assist with completing my registration with no luck, he sent me an email to say he couldn’t help I must rather wait and come to the campus on the 12 Feb. I then tried calling again and spoke to a lady by the name of Imelda Jacobs who is the senior faculty officer. She initially asked me to email her my student number so that she can assist. I did and she rep**** to say my application was captured incorrectly and that I would have to redo 1st year subjects, I emailed her back 3 times asking for clarification and she never rep**** back. I then called her today and this is what she said to me: ‘ You are not even my student so I don’t know why I even assisted in the first place’ she then gave me a number to call and hung up. The number she provided is that of the administrator who was allocated to me by the name of Thomas Tshikovha who I am still unable to get hold of. I am appalled by the lack of interest and service that is provided by the Wits staff. An online platform was created and one would expect the process to be completed on that platform with assistance on call/email. Little did I know that I would then be told to go on campus if I am struggling with completing my application. This shows a complete lack of interest and eagerness to help. I am so disappointed! Had I known I would of app**** at a different institution!
