Poor reception of first years (2019) at Wits university

What a terrible experience for first year students and their parents today. Waiting in long queues for 4 to 5 hours in today’s heat was very uncomfortable to say the least. To make it worse, there are no watering holes around Flower Hall where all the action (or non action) was. I expected a lot from this prestigious university and was very disappointed. The organization left much to be desired. I hope next year’s first years will have a better reception.
