Wish you were here lodge

We booked the place via booking.com it was the first place we went to together with my husband 6years ago so we were excited to relive that moment. When we got to the place it was a complete shock it was nothing as advertised at booking.com the bed was in a bad state was not even comfortable and I was heavely pregnant at the time, it looked as if there was maintenance we could see people showering. When we complained to the receptionist guy he ignored us. We asked for the room we booked and saw when we booked he said the was someone staying there for days he was very rude. He told us we can cancel if want we ended up canceling at night. They refused to refund us saying funds are with booking.com and when we interacted with booking.com they told us they only have a percentage as their agency they can only refund that the lodge has our money. When our lawyer got there they promised to sort things out but we never got our money.
