Do not touch WireIt.l
Frequently on purchasing electricity for a prepaid meter online no token number is sent to my phone via sms as arranged when setting up the account with WireIt. THEY ARE TRULY USELESS AND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT THEM VIA CALL OR EMAIL YOU GET NO RESPONSE. i HAVE NOW BEEN WAITING SOMETHING LIKE 6 HOURS TO RECEIVE A TOKEN BUT IN VAIN. THIS AMOUNTS TO AN UNDERHANDED WAY OF GETTING PEOPLE TO PART WITH THEIR MONEY FOR NOTHING IN RETURN. i SUGGEST PEOPLE AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE.. The parent company appears to be called Contour Technologies but it would seem the only contours lie in their ability to manage a vital service via their company.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a technical issue that is out of our control. We are awaiting feedback from FNB's technical division. Once they have managed to resolve the issue the tokens will be generated.

13 Oct 2023, 08:00The insultingly standard format reply is unbelievable. They blame the bank for its online bank failure. What they fail to mention is that this involves more than one banking institution. Why do they not look at their own systems rather than passing the buck? This should be seen as part of a company called Contour Don't Have A Clue About Technology. Almost 24 hours later I still have no electricity paid for via WireIt. That really sucks.
