Bad after sales service

We bought a Toyota Etios from Wingfield Goodwood, sales person was Callin. We were in a rush to get a car as our Golf broke down and we opted for Wingfield as I assumed that according to their ads they could be trusted. First of all when I reported that the car has 2 different back lights they just brushed it off. Then I reported continually that the car revs high they claimed they could not see anything wrong, even when the mechanic was in the car with me and the car was revving high. They cleaned the throttle body and it stopped for a while but it started again and now it's getting worse. Im disappointed in Wingfield Motors as they made it seem like we were a nuisance after they made the sale, typical used cars salesman behavior. Needless to say Im never going back to ANY Wingfield branch and would advise others to stay away because what they promised and what we experienced were world's apart.

Good day
Please contact me in this regard as I am not aware of any issues on a Etios. Please confirm if you are referring to the Etios that was bought by Mrs Jacobs in June 2023.

Many Thanks

My wife and I bought the car, we are married in community of property. That is the same car that I referred to. Im sure there is not anything that you can or will do. We never made use of the extend warranty but I could not understand what you guys never took responsibility to properly fix, as per what you advertise. That problem never dissappeared, we just learned to live with it. Im just warning other potential customers to be weary because you are not as good as you would like people to believe.

Thank you for your reply. You are Welcome to contact me, as I said I am not aware of any outstanding issues on your vehicle. If I had knew about the issue I could address it and there would be no reason at all why we would not repair your vehicle. Especially if you have an extended warranty on your vehicle that I see has now expired due to age. Please contact me in order for us to shed some light on this issue.

Thanks

Kind Regards

I have contacted you. You now have to contact us. This throttle body needed replacement the first time I reported the issue, instead it was brushed off. There's nothing to be saved here in my opinion, its up to you to prove that you actually value your customers and make the effort to make contact with us, instead of whole time saying that I must contact you...This is exactly the attitude that Im referring to, Wingfield is more important than their customers.
