Don't touch Wine-of-the-Month club with a barge pole!

After being contacted in late September 2019 and in the end giving in to at least try their offering, I received my first box of wine. I didn't feel it was worth the price and wrote on 16 October 2019 requesting them with immediate effect to cancel my subscription to the Wine-of-the-Month Club. I also said the same to one of their Agents who subsequently called me to try and convince me to reverse my decision. It seems they haven't learned from the many complaints on this site and debited my bank account at 05h30 this morning with an amount of R319.67. I suppose that like many complainants I'll be lucky to get a refund. The problem is they put it through as a purchase and not as a debit order.
