Warm, friendly, involved hosts.

We (family of 5 + Bull Mastiff + Bassett Hound + Tabby cat) relocated from KwaZulu-Natal to the Western Cape mid December of 2020. While our animals traveled with a Pet Shuttle, we took a 3 day road trip to reach Tokai.

Windsor House was our 3rd (and it turned out also our 4th) and final stop before our furniture truck arrived, and we were pretty shattered at the end of another 6 hour trip when we arrived.

Tracy and Mark saw us (with our 2 vehicles and trailer) safely onto their property, and produced a delightfully refreshing gin and tonic tipple to soothe our weary selves.

Their accommodation was ample, light, spacious, crisp and as refreshing as their warmth, friendliness and hospitality. They produced a delicious vegetarian breakfast for us each morning (an optional extra) which was not only very helpful but nutritious, delicious and beautifully presented.

We cannot recommend Windsor House enough. ♡
