Non disclosure of product failing at time of sale

In May my Mitsubishi Pajero Sport went in for a check up at Mitsubishi Vereeniging.During the day I rec'd a call asking whether I would like to install paint and chip protection film to my vehicle.Pricing was agreed with the lights bonnet and sidesills being covered at a figure of R8000.This was paid to Mitsubishi Vereeniging against their invoice to which was attached a 3M Automotive card reflecting my details and on the reverse a 'Lifetime guarantee. On 28th Oct the vehicle went in for its first 10000km service and I detailed faults for rectification including chipping that was occurring on the front edge of the bonnet which had not been covered by the chip protection film.I had paid R8000 for a product that was to ensure no chips on the bonnet etc.I received a call from 3M Automotive who stated that their product does not cover the front bonnet edge and that it was \Bad luck"that this had occurred.Had it been stated in May that the bonnet edge would not be covered I definately would NOT have purchased the product.Anyone thinking of using Window Fix Arcon Park Vereeniging for chip protection covering be warned and dont if the covering does not include front bonnet edge cover """
