Manager/ owner. Abbuse of staff

The owner of above restaurant thinks it is acceptable behaviour to scream and swear at his staff. The white staff are not allowed to give black staff members a lift to work. The waiters have to give a portion of their tip money to pay the runners (R100.00) a day during the week. Working hours from 7 :00 till 17:00 because the owner is too stingy to pay them himself. If they complain about working conditions or about the pay. They are informed that they are welcome to leave.. Customers have confronted the manager about his rude behaviour and get told that this is the only way that staff members perform. I am sure that if you treat workers and co-workers with respect and dignity that you will get excellent service and respect. Is this too much to ask for?
