Door Fitment

On the 30/08/2016 or the 01/09/2016 Wincrest Homes did an installation of a door after my property was broken into.

From the 2nd week in September 2016, the door became difficult to lock.

During the course of October/November 2016, I have made numerous calls to Wincrest Homes, spoke to Dillon who on every occassion stated that he will send the carpenter out to have a look at the door, it is now December 2016 and I am still waiting for this to happen.

At first Dillon gave me excuses as to why the door is not locking:

- Rainy weather

- Swollen door

- Swollen frame work

- Door not sealed properly (I am assuming he meant with the varnish)

- I should call the insurance company

Only later when I had enough of the above, did he opt to send someone out. (Like I said, I am still waiting)

With every call to Dillon, it was always the carpenters fault for not making the appointment and I was always promised a call back with a solution, nothing, not a shred of customer service.

This is what happens when you outsource the work that you have been outsourced to do.

If my door is not sorted out within the next 48 hours. I will write a complaint to my insurance company, stating the facts like I have and that can determine were you fall in the prefered supplier list.
