WORM IN WIMPY SOUTH COAST MALL'S PLATE

I went to Wimpy at South coast mall at around 4:50 on 09/10/2019. They close at 5 pm but they allowed us to sit in and have a meal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We sat down and placed our order which came to us quite fast. I ordered the calamari and chips. As I start to eat my meal I see a worm crawling on my plate close to where the baby tomato was. I called the manager who made me a brand new meal which I took as a take away due to my husband and our friend finishing their food by that time, so I didn't want to hold anyone up as well as because I knew the restaurant was already closed. I am appreciative that they handled the issue in the proper manner, but that was a really yucky experience. I could have gotten sick, which means they don't wash their food. That very unhealthy and dangerous.
