Wimpy says NO to water as option on kiddies menu

I took my daughter to Wimpy in Randridge mall yesterday as a treat. I asked if we could please substitute the drink that came with the meal (milkshake, soda or fruit juice) for a water instead as I had promised my daughter an ice cream after lunch and did not want her to have a complete sugar overload. I was told that this was not a possibility as they could not change it on the system, I do understand this. I was told to buy the meal and the water separately and pay more. When thinking about the situation I got even more upset when I realised that I was asking for a cheaper item on the menu (soda = R17, milkshake = R21 and juice = R19 BUT water = R14??) but was going to pay more? The owner of the Wimpy was sitting a short distance away and rather than helping with the situation, he sat back and smiled about it. I subsequently left without anything and was shocked at the poor service. Why does Wimpy not allow water as an option on the kids menu? Surely there should be healthier meal options so that we can treat our children, if we wish, to something sweet after their meal? There is currently a huge focus on healthy eating plans for children worldwide, Wimpy you are lagging behind.
