Wimpy East Rand Mall TOPCLASS

<p>I has an appaling experience at a Wimpy branch a couple of weeks ago. An apology from Wimpy and an invite to revisit any of their branches led me and my partner to go to East Rand Mall Wimpy this past weekend. I didn't mention to the waiter or any of the staff that we were there because Wimpy was trying to redeem themselves. We received wonderful service none the less. Martin, our waiter, was prompt, friendly and anticipated our needs before we even asked. He brought us extra spice and condiments without us asking. He saw I was using my smartphone and offered the Wimpy Wifi password to me. He helped us adjust our meal order in an efficient way. We were truly impressed by his services. Other than that the food was cooked well, we didnt have any burnt toast or bacon like before. In fact, instead of 3 rashers of bacon as per menu, we received 4 each. We had fresh tomatoes and a proper rocket leaf for aesthetics. When we proceeded to "pay" we were met with some confusion, but still helped efficiently and politely by manager Neal. We truly enjoyed our experience at Wimpy East Rand and want to commend them on not only the food and customer service but also on the little things. The restuarant is kept smelling great by help of the timed aerosol machines- this is cool becuase it keeps the smell of oil at bay which is usually present in restuarants like this. The staff looked well groomed and everything was clean. Yay Wimpy, some of your branches are still great! Thanks to Anri, franchise manager, Neal, manager at East rand and Martin, waiter at East Rand for turning our 1-star into a 5-star. </p> <p> </p> <p>See you soon</p>
