Very disappointed in service

Wimpy SA what a very disappointing visit I had yesterday at your Mall of the South branch. Mall of the South not being a very child friendly place, I took my son out on a Mother /son date and His choice of restaurant was wimpy. We got there and I ordered the special of R79 with the burger and milkshake. The waiter told me that we can't order that because there is no ice cream so they can't make milkshake. I said to her surely you can substitute it for something else at the end of the day you are running a special and you need to make provision for that right? Well she refused I asked her to call the manager. Manager told me that they are not allowed to do that. My response to him was well them before I came to sit down and place my order you had to tell me mam we unfortuanetly have a problem with our ice cream qe not able to serve any meal that requires ice cream. I wanted a waffle and I couldn't even order a waffle. I sat there and called your customer care line and spoke to Sibusiso. I explained my situation to him and the first thing he asked was did the manager offer you a substitution for the milkshake. He asked to speak to the manager and the manager said he was going to phone his regional manager first . He handed my phone back to me and said I should give him 2min. We sat there for almost 10 /15 mins waiting for him to come. Not even the waiter came to our table. My son was hungry and we had to get up and go. THIS WAS VERY UNACCEPTABLE. WE AS THE CUSTOMER HAVE NO PART AS TO EHY YOUR MACHINE IS NOT PUMPING ICE CREAM OR AT LEAST PUT A SIGN AT THE ENTRANDE TO INFORM CUSTOMERS. THE FACT THAT THE MANAGER LEFT US SITTING FOR SO LONG AFTERWARDS WAS JUST AS DISAPPOINTING. LEAVING WITH A HUNGRY AND DISSPOINTED CHILD WHO CHOSE WIMPY AS OUR BONDING TIME WAS EVEN FAR MORE DISAPPOINTING THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
