VERY BAD SERVICE AT WIMPY IN KILLARNEY MALL

good afternoon. This morning I took my son for breakfast at the Wimpy in the Killarney Mall. When we arrived at the entrance, two Waitresses looked at us and just carried on with their business, so we waited and eventually I called one and she showed me with her hand to come towards the till, FIRST RED FLAG. I asked her if she had a table for us and I saw there was only one table available and we walked towards it, and sat down. she came back to tell me that the table was reserved, but there was no sign on the table, SECOND RED FLAG. She then showed me to another table that had just become available in a corner. we waited ten minutes before an Indian man called ABDUL came over and I said we were not even given a menu yet, THIRD RED FLAG, but we thought we would still give them a chance. Eventually the same waitress that showed us the table came and we placed our order, which included a glass of water. Meanwhile another couple had arrived and sat at the "reserved table" and they were already drinking coffee!!!! My water had not even arrived yet. An elderly couple next to us also commented on how bad the service was as they were also waiting for their food and were there long before us. Abdul kept pointing to our table but no food arrived. after about 40 minutes a black man came to me and asked if our food had arrived and I told him what the situation was, he said he would check on it but I told him that Abdul had also checked on it and yet we were still waiting. I then got up to leave and he said he would go to the kitchen but I said not to worry and there are other restaurants that we can go to. They all watched as we left and nobody approached us to ask us to stay and in fact I saw that very Abdul make a gesture with his hand that clearly said "let them go". We went to the Ocean Basket and what stunning and wonderful service we received from them. Is it any wonder then that our once beautiful South Africa is in such a mess and must we always just keep quiet and put up with this bad service we get??????? Shame on all of you at the Wimpy in Killarney Mall.
