Not a happy chappie

Good afternoon, On Saturday, 16th January 2021, I was very disappointed with the overhaul service of Wimpy in Uitenhage. I waited to be seated by the till lady. As I sat down I asked her to bring me a coffee with milk. She said it's on the way. A while later she brought the coffee. I then placed my order, an omelet with bacon and cheese. This took forever to come to my table. I saw the plate of food standing on the serving counter. The other waitrons just ignored the plate. None of them spoke to this lady. When the food arrived, it had lost it's heat. I wanted to send the plate back, how long would I have to wait. When I was finished, I just sat waiting for someone to ask me if I wanted something else. A waitron walked towards the area where I was sitting. I made eye contact with this lady and showed her that I would like the bill. She walked past the table and went to the kitchen area and disappeared out of sight. Later the lady that helped me come to my table where I asked her for the bill. The atmosphere was very tense. The customers are the one that are suffering for the internal fighting. I blame the Wimpy's management for the tense atmosphere. I am from Port Elizabeth visiting Uitenhage as it was my old home town. Regards Hans Loenen
