MISSING PHONE ; NO FOOTAGE

ASK FOR A TABLE VISIBLE NOT ON THE BLIND SPOT I Visited wimpy at lakeside mall in Benoni for ice cream, my friend and had the desert, paid and left within I was there at 4 45 pm or so and left just after 5;30 pm, I took a 15 mins to walk to my church but realised that i didn't have my phone , i remembered that I had put it on the table (85) where I was sitting I immediately walked back , my waitress was still there, since she started clearing the table whilst we were preparing to go , I assumed she would be having my phone , apparently she never saw my phone , the side of wimpy where I sat was practically deserted when I was there, there were 2 men sitting there doing paperwork. I was told to come back in the morning to look at the footage since the manager was not there, so the following day Sunday 6th October I went there and the manager was called, i have never been so disappointed in my entire life as a customer especially with a well-established restaurant as Wimpy, this manager was so unhelpful he told me that he already checked the cameras, that the table I was sitting on was on a blind spot there was no video or any footage showing, that even in i went to the police its no use cause he cant see the footage, he became so outraged saying we, customers, go to them ranting when we lose things at wimpy and that his waiters were not *******, that he grew up with them and that he knows them very well; I never was suspicious of these waiters, I hoped that there was going to footage to sow what happened. After talking to that Manager who spoke to me like someone with no customer service qualifications or s****s; I was now very sure one of the waiters took my phone and that it was not the first time that incidents mine happens at wimpy in lakeside mall often. PLEASE ASK TO BE SITTED IN A VISIBLE AREA, THE MANAGER SAID THERE ARE MANY AREAS IN THIS WIMPY WITH BLIND SPOTS.
