What an awful way to start a morning at Wimpy Durbanville. Upon arrival we weren't greeted or seated and an employee was standing at the counter on her phone. I had to go ask them to clear the table, as well as having to ask the employee (who was still on her phone) to take my temperature for the COVID-19 screening.

I ordered a cheese griller breakfast with my egg sunnyside up. Upon arrival my toast was burnt but I thought I'd look past it. After having started eating my egg I saw that the egg white was still raw. I called our waiter and asked her to to remove it from our bill as I was not happy with the quality. The manager came and said if I turn the toast over it is fine and not burnt and that a soft egg has raw egg white. She proclaimed that as I ate most of the egg and that everything else on the plate was fine, she is willing to bring me new toast. I told her not to bother and sent the whole plate back.

I was very unhappy with the service and will definitely not be returning.
