False Advertising at Wimpy.
Today 11th May, is a slipper day.
Were you buy a sticker for R10 and get a wrist band, this is all in the name of charity.
The sticker says you buy it and get free regular coffee at participating wimpy. In the morning i went to wimpy at Malibongwe by the engene garage, were i normally buy my coffee.
i had my slippers on and with the wrist band, and i was told that they were not given the autority to give put free coffee. which i find it very strange as their mini TV screen said that you will get free coffee if you wear the slippers and the wrist band, which i did. i had to pay for my coffee like i normally do, but today it needed to be special as i bought the band.
i am not fighting for a free coffee, i am fighting for false advertising. Why play a big role in charity if you are not going to deliver as per the promise. I spend R114.50 a week for my coffee as i am a regular there, and that is where i saw the advert in the first place.
