Dog at wimpy

I was at wimpy arrow rest in hartebeesport dam, always go there because I the food is amazing and service is fantastic! I just wanted to find out though, are animals allowed at wimpy? Because at my visit to wimpy today there was a lady who brought a dog in and had the dog laying on the table just next to me and found it to be very unsanitary! I think if my food had come at that time when the dog arrived, I would have got up and left! Restaurants are not a place for animals, I love animals don't get me wrong, but I simply dont think they should be allowed at a place of eating.
