Complaint Wimpy

Good day

Yesterday morning my husband and i attempted to eat breakfast at your Richards Bay Wimpy in the Boardwalk shopping center.

On entering the store we stopped and proceeded to fill out the register which lay discarded on the counter top. Three waitresses where standing around. When we asked them for a pen we were told its not necessary to fill it out and they kept trying to hurry us to a table. We said no, its a mandatory requirement during lockdown level 1 to record all visitors information together with their temperature and they laughed in our faces. It was a huge joke to them. Keeping their customers safe. Did you know that the number of people in any venue must not exceed 50% of its normal capacity. This was not the case looking around yesterday and it would be hard to argue this if you don't have an updated register in place. As per the government regulations masks must be worn at all times and social distancing must be maintained. You have to have a contact register in place where all details are recorded along with the customers temperature taken. Even if I were wrong, and the above wasn't required your waitresses laughing and ridiculing me was the last straw. I used to love your establishment, but this was the last time i will ever visit one of your branches.
