Child Diabetes Type 1

On Friday we made a stop at Fleurdal Mall- Bloemfontein, where we sat down at the Wimpy for breakfast. Both of the kids ordered a kiddies meal. But only one child was allowed to get a toy. The reason behind this according to the staff there is because Sprite Zero doesn’t fall into the cooldrink range - which I can totally understand. But the difference here is that my child is a diabetic type 1- he cannot drink normal cooldrink! I emailed Wimpy on Friday night and still no response. Is there any ************** against diabetes type 1? He asked me why Wimpy does this to him...
