Body Shaming

On the 16th of December 2022, Friday, I went to Wimpy on "Die Bult" in Potchefstroom. It was at 14:00. I wanted to order a take away chocolate milkshake. A waiter offered to help but subsequently made a comment about my weight because I was: "Dressed in gym gear, why would I want to order a chocolate milkshake.?"

I dressed that way so that I could be comfortable, since I was going to be at a nearby hairsalon doing my hair.

I left immediately to which she the tried to grab me. She did and I almost hit her. I didn't.

I will never ever go back there again. In this society where body shaming is frowned upon, your waiters should know better than comment about anyone's weight.

It is hot I am not fat, I was just DRESSED in gym gear.
