Bad Management

On Saturday the 8th of May 2021, my friends and I were on a vacation and decided to have breakfast at Wimpy as we were a group of 20. The nearest was Shop W02 Cnr General Hertzog &, Nile Dr, Vereeniging, 1930. We all ordered different food but my partner and i ordered farm house breakfast and since it didn't make him full he decided to order an Ultimate meaty feast as one of our friend was having one and it looked delicious. We decided to order it, by the time the waitress brought our order, everyone else was done eating and we decided we will eat it when we get to the hotel, we asked the waitress to make it a take away while we sause the order. One of our friends decided they needed a doggy bag as they wont finish their order then the waitress said she will bag it for her and combine it for us. We gave the waitress the card to pay for the bill as we moved out and she gave our friend a plastic with the doggy bags and said thank you and gave us the bill then we left. When we get to the hotel the food was not there and we had to return back, when we went back the waitress was no longer there as she knocked off but we spoke with the manager who said the chef confirmed that the order was made and it was given to us so there's nothing she can do but say sorry, even after the staff confirmed that when we left there was an order in a doggy bag left unattended on a different table accidentally by the waitress but the manager deliberately accused that we had taken the order. Even after attempts of asking her to check the footage as she said she would but she didn't and still accused that we had taken the food and it was our own negligence of not checking our order. I've been to many Wimpys before and this had been the 1st and worst experience I've ever had in my whole entire life, mind you we've spent over R2000 on breakfast but to be deliberately insulted like this is horribly disappointing. If none of this is ever escalated mind you that it would be the worst customer service ever. I'm honestly disappointed.
