ATROCIOUS SERVICE

I had the misfortune of trying to secure a meal at the Phalaborwa Wimpy. Firstly it took a waiter 10 minutes to clear the table from the previous customer, then another 20 minutes before our order was taken. After 40 minutes, our food had still not arrived. I asked for the manager, who was not keen to hurry to our assistance, and after another 40 minutes of waiting I decided that Wimpy has no respect for their customers or the time of their customers. On departing I asked for the details of the owner, and lo and behold he was in the restaurant. After asking four times to speak with him, and him choosing to ignore me, I eventually walked up to him at the serving hatch from the kitchen, explained to him what my issue was, which he clearly brushed aside after a half hearted attempt at promising he would speed up my meal, and continued to then ignore me. The waiters are clueless and we had to repeat orders four times and on reading it back, they still had it wrong. The staff are rude, the owner is arrogant. I have to question why, the two tables on either side of us, who were seated 10 and 15mins after us, had already finished their meals by the time I chose to leave. Absolutely atrocious service.
