2nd Coffee free? No ways.

9 O clock this morning. Romantic breakfast for 2 planned. Ordered breakfast with coffee. Coffee arrived with cutlery and a saucer with 2 X jam. Requested butter. I was informed that they have no butter in stock. (Please take note that this restaurant is located in a Pick n Pay where there are fridges loaded with butter) We were not prepared to eat dry toast without butter. (Why do I have to? This is a restaurant where one has to pay for what you eat) Would you also serve breakfast without the eggs if you run out of eggs? We canceled the order. Then I asked for my 2nd cup coffee as WIDELY advertised (The only reason we actually choose Wimpy and not the Spur around the corner) Guess what?..... No sir, we only serve the free 2nd cup when ordering a meal. Asked to talk to the manager. Sorry sir, he / she is not in the shop. So.... Had to pay for your overpriced (2X) single coffees. So much for our romantic breakfast. While on the topic.....Thinking..... Do you still sell so many coffees as usual after your 2nd price increase in 12 months? Surely even before this fiasco we can't afford to have a quick coffee at the Wimpy as we used to do. Pity. <br>
