OR Tambo Airport Lost & Found is Ignoring My Report - My Phone is Still at the Airport

I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of accountability from OR Tambo International Airports Lost and found department. I left my phone in my handbag during a recent departure, and my Find My iPhone app confirms that the phone is still located at the airport.

I immediately contacted the airport and received one or two responses initially. However, as soon as I shared the exact contents of my bag, their communication completely stopped. I have followed up multiple times with no response. It's unacceptable and feels as though they are deliberately ignoring me to keep my belongings.

As I am not in South Africa at the moment, I am reachable only via WhatsApp which I mentioned in my emails yet no contact or action has been taken.

This kind of behavior reflects badly on the integrity and professionalism expected from an international airport. I demand that this is escalated immediately, and that someone from Lost and Found contacts me to return my bag, phone and wallet.
