WORST VENUE EVER - DO NOT USE THEM

This place is a *****!!! DON'T SUPPORT THEM BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!! I have never dealt with a place so unprofessional in my entire life. I made a booking for 3 rooms for a wedding in March. Made the booking in February. Accomodation sorted. I paid for the accomodation in full (not just the deposit) Amidst the peak of the Covid-19 Pandemic the venue then decides to host a party of international asian guests (staying at the venue until the Friday) THE WEDDING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SATURDAY. Venue demanded the final payment from the bridal party on Sunday the week before the wedding just to CANCEL THE WEDDING the following day!!!!!! Venue's reason: Due to last booking they have to sanitise the venue. Surely they could have gotten in touch sooner?? HOW DO YOU DO OPERATE LIKE THAT? Get all the money in and then cancel? NO COMMUNICATION to guests that booked. NO REFUNDS till this date. Surely you have to take the responsibility if YOU (the Venue) cancelled!!!!!! The manager has not responded to my emails - she only says that the owner is too busy to deal with it. Or the owner has bigger problems than you or he will get to it when he has time!!!! The fact that they demand payment, cancels and then keeps the money. WHAT A DISGRACE!!!

Update : It has now been four months and I have yet to receive any feedback from the venue, manager or owner. Covid is not an excuse for unprofessionalism. They STOLE money from me and numerous other guests after THEY cancelled the wedding without any notice to guests nor an apology and a refund for services NOT RENDERED. I hope they close down.
