We bought our Willowbrook Recliner after going a traumatic couple of months with my Dad. First he was diagnosed with Dementia and then he suffered a 80% Pulmonary Embolism in his main heart/long artery. We suddenly became home carers for someone who did not understand what he was going through. With Willowbrook a new world of understanding opened up for us as our sales agent took us through the possibilities that our recliner could offer my Dad - independence & safety! Two of biggest concerns keeping us up most of the time. With the recliner my Dad could now get up and out of chair safely with the hydraulic system. And with the design of the chair, my Dad could not just climb out or fall out when he gets confused and we are not there in that split second, he has to wait for us to help him! or ring his bell! We added the massage option to our purchase and the calming effect it has had on my Dad's Dementia anxiety has been tremendously positive. We actually took the option for assisting with the blood clotting and even though it works 100% for what we included it for, the quality of life it has give my Dad has been amazing. We've had the recliner for just over 02 months now and my Dad's independence have improved massively. He confidence has grown to such an extend that he can actually help himself from a fairly upright sitting position to get out of the recliner, using the control and getting back in. He is walking better and his balance is better. He is bruising less, since his circulation is better with the help of the daily massaging. The Willowbrook recliner has really been the best investment we could have made in my Dad's health as an extension to his existing Medical Care.
