Willowbridge elevators not working AGAIN
The elevators at this mall never working. This is very difficult for elderly people to walk up and down stairs. More importantly, there are never notices that the elevators are not working. This is not acceptable. I had knee surgery recently and it just completely messed up my knees after having to climb those stairs up and down. I will never go shop at Willowbridge again. I challenge the Centre manager to contact me. Someone is not doing their job, but more importantly, they are allowed to get away with it.

In order to protect our equipment from power surges during Load Shedding we have teams that switch off the elevators just before Load Shedding. The elevators are switched on again just a few minutes after Load Shedding starts as our Generators continue to ensure the centre remains operational. We do understand that this is frustrating, but we ask that you please bear with us as we do try our best to ensure the elevators are switched back on as soon as possible. 26 Jun 2023, 19:19Dear Willowbridge Centre Management. Thank you for your response however, this is not entirely accurate to blame load shedding for your elevators not working. Saturday 24 June 2023, when I was at the Centre there was no load shedding, yet the elevators were not working. This was the same the previous occasions as well. Blaming load shedding has become very convenient scapegoat for lack of utility management.
Since the staff are so diligent about switching the elevators On and Off, how about getting them to kindly place a notice at all the elevators to bring it to the attention of customers regarding the Load Shedding "procedures".
I intent to write reviews about all the shops in the elevator problem in the Willowbridge Mall (e.g. Woolworths, DisChem, Pick n Pay, etc.. and all the restaurants) as the Centre Utilities and they can inturn put pressure on the Centre management to improve this service.
