Overnight Delivery ended up being 5 days late

We have used Willie a number of times to deliver stock for us from Somerset West to our outlet at the Watershed V&A Waterfront. We pay him, he collects on his way back to Kleinmond and then delivers the next day on his way back into Cape Town.<br> Therefore, on this occaision I did not micro manage him and trusted that the parcel would be delivered in good faith, which it wasn't.<br> We had to go to a wedding in the Eastern Cape and arranged for him to collect stock that our staff had made (we are an NGO, working with people in the townships in Helderberg) which needed to get to the Waterfront outlet in time for the long weekend rush, one of the last busy periods one expects before Winter kicks in.<br> He collected the stock on Wednesday evening 29 April and by Thursday evening 7pm, the stock still hadn't been received. We struggled to get hold of Willie from the Eastern Cape and when finally someone answered the phone, we were informed that they had run out of time and would deliver on Monday. This was going to be no use to us at all.<br> We had to get our team to work overtime on the public holiday 1 May, to make additional stock and then get a friend to take it through on Saturday.
