Breach of Contract

Please don't rent property from Elmarie and Willie Verhuurings. My husband and I do. We moved into a house we rent through them in Centurion in April. yesterday they cut our electricity without a court order after we paid it. We requested intervention from the Rental Housing Tribunal and submitted a formal complaint today where we presented proof of payment. The Tribunal confirmed what the Rental Housing Act states, a court order to suspend electricity is required. on speaking to the managing agent this morning, they cannot reconnect the electricity as they 'work' for the owner, I.e Nudoor Properties. The owner emailed Willie and Elmarie Eiendomme yesterday instructing the electricity to be suspended, he lives in Botswana - our agreement is with Willie and Elmarie Eiendomme, not with him. They are also therefore in breach of contract. They are not acting within the ambit of the law. They don't protect their tenant interests. They bully, victimise and harass tenants with daily mails and sms's. They are treating us this way because we are one month behind on our rent and rejected offers to pay it off. They refuse mediation from the Rental Housing Tribunal. Don't rent from them!
