Willem Pretorius Resort (Destea) Chamber of Horror

Good day, we are tourists from Germany and are travelling through your beautiful country. Our last stop is Willem Pretorius Resort (Destea). We were absolutely appalled at the state of this resort. it would be interesting to know when there was a manager there. There were bottles, ******es and paper lying around in the resort. The rooms are dirty, the toilet was broken, there are no towels or toilet paper and the television was dismantled. You can't use the pool because there is brown mud floating around. The employees were laying in the shade and were sleeping. We were absolutely appalled at how unloving the museum looked. We paid 950 Rand for one night for the run-down room, which is unbelievable. There were two credit card readers which were used at reception to scan the credit card. I wasn't sure why and I hope I didn't pay twice. My Visa statement will show it. We paid less money in other resorts and everything was very clean and nice there. As the manager in charge, you have to look after the resort, you are responsible for everything and also for your employees. At the end we did leave at 6pm without staying over as we didnt feel safe. There was no visible security, the gate wide open and there were many people around, which seemed that they were not guests at the resort.
