<p>The underneath without prejudice.</p> <p>I bought a complete boat including engine from Wildcat / Walkerbay Sea Craft cc.</p> <p>I paid a deposit on 30 September 2016</p> <p>On 2 November 2016 Mr Thomas Chowles, owner of Walker bay sea craft CC (WBSC) informed me that the boat is still not ready.</p> <p>I said that he must finish everything 100% as agreed before delivering the boat.</p> <p>The deal was that he would register and licence the trailer complete with number plate.</p> <p>He would also survey the boat with all buoyancy papers in other words seaworthy.</p> <p>He will check everything and insure that the boat is as good as new and everything is working.</p> <p>On 16 November 2016 he informed me that the boat was ready and he is already waiting for me.</p> <p>I drove to Wildcat in Botrivier to fetch the boat on 17 November 2016</p> <p>On arrival the boat was not ready and I waited several hours for him to finish. The boat still is not finished as agreed.</p> <p>The trailer was not registered and he said I must do it. I said it was not the deal but agreed because I had a weekend planned with the boat which was already paid for.</p> <p>When I arrived at the testing station with the trailer, they informed me that the trailer was s****ped.</p> <p>I took out a temporary permit and continued with my weekend and also to test the boat.</p> <p>After I tested the boat the following info which I also passed on to Mr Chowles of Wildcat immediately after my return on 20 November 2016.</p> <p>I also referred to the consumer law and informed him that I do not want this incomplete product and he must take it back:</p> <p>Despite the trailer that was not registered, licensed and on the road as agreed which by the way he offered that I must take one of his other trailers license and number plate and drive like that, which I obviously refused.<br />The engine could not trim in completely and pressed against the hydraulic pump causing cavitation. It became clear that the wrong pump was on the engine.<br />The engine flooded when opened up<br />Inside of steering mechanism was faulty<br />The ski bar was mounted off centre on the boat and therefore the engine pressed against it<br />The pipes on the brand new canopy is loose and canopy collapsed when wind blows.<br />The head of the drawbar coupling was loose<br />The wiring of the trailer was hanging out <br />Throttle control cover was missing<br />Fittings on tubes was coming lose from the tube<br />Brand new boat cover was incomplete and could not fit properly<br /> </p> <p>I urged Mr Chowles from Wildcat to take the boat back and refund me in full</p> <p>He refused</p> <p> </p> <p>He undertook to fix everything on the boat and after a while I agreed to give him one more chance</p> <p>He fetched the boat from my home</p> <p>I resend a list of things that needed to be fixed before he delivers the boat again</p> <p>On 16 December 2016 he delivered the boat to my house</p> <p>On 20 December I informed him in writing that I did not have a chance yet to test the boat and referred to the consumers act again.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 26 December I got the first chance to test the boat</p> <p>The boat still could not pull out a skier due to cavitation and was even worse during turning. Even with small inputs it cavitated.<br />The wrong pump was still on the boat which was part of the reason for the cavitation.<br />Engine now had no power and could not even get onto plain by itself.<br />It could not trim out without cavitating completely when on plain.<br />The new canopy’s poles still pulled out<br />The seats was rotten and came off by itself<br />Fittings was pulling lose from the pontoons<br />Ski bar still off-centre and engine pressed against it<br />Trailer wiring still hanging out<br /> </p> <p>All this was put in writing to Mr Thomas Chowles of Wildcat on 28 Desember 2016 and I again urged him to take back his product and refund me in full.</p> <p>He refused for the 3rd time</p> <p>On 3 January 2017 I gave him a final chance to refund me which he again revoked.</p> <p> The unuseable and broke boat is still standing at my house</p>
