Wild Waters – Paid Deposit, Park Closed and Rude Treatment

I am extremely disappointed with the way we were treated by Wild Waters and the manner in which this entire situation was handled. We booked to visit Wild Waters on Saturday, 5 September 2026. Before the visit, we were informed that there was limited space available and that we needed to secure our space by paying a deposit. We trusted this information and made the required payment to secure our booking. However, when we arrived at the park with our children on the day, we were shocked to find that the park was closed. We contacted Wild Waters for assistance. A rude man named Nicholas spoke to us and, instead of assisting us or explaining the situation professionally, he told us to “**** off with our kids.” This was completely unacceptable, especially considering that we had paid money to secure our booking and had arrived with our children expecting to enjoy the day. We were then assisted by a lady named Jacky, who initially told us that we should pay the outstanding balance and she would arrange for someone to open the park for us. What makes this even more concerning is that she knew the pools were black, dirty and clearly not in an acceptable condition. When we questioned whether the pools would actually be cleaned if we paid the balance, her attitude changed. She became rude and emotional and eventually told us that she would refund our money and that we should leave. We accepted this and left, expecting our refund to be processed as promised. To date, we have still not received our money back. This experience was extremely upsetting and disappointing. We were asked to pay a deposit to secure a space because we were told there was limited availability, only to arrive and find the park closed. We were then spoken to disrespectfully, including being told to “**** off with our kids,” and were ultimately left without the service we paid for and without our promised refund. I believe customers deserve transparency, professionalism and basic respect. If the park was not operational or the pools were not safe/clean for visitors, we should have been informed before travelling to the venue and paying a deposit. I am requesting that Wild Waters immediately process our full refund and provide an explanation as to why we were allowed to make a booking and payment when the park was closed and the facilities were apparently in such poor condition. I would also like Wild Waters to address the unacceptable conduct of the staff members involved, particularly Nicholas and Jacky, as no customer should be spoken to in this manner. I have proof of payment and can provide the relevant booking/payment information if required. Wild Waters, please resolve this matter and refund our money without further delay.
