Unpleasant, inconsiderate and disrespectful host at Wild Honey Studio Marloth Park

My partner and I stayed at Wild Honey Studio in Marloth Park for four nights, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped. Despite the beautiful interior, we were disgusted by the level of service we received from the host.

For three of the four days, we were left without electricity. To make matters worse, we were not provided with enough candles or alternative lighting to compensate. When we reached out to the host on the second day of no electricity, she only responded the next morning, leaving us stranded in the dark for the remaining nights as nothing was done to improve the situation.

We had planned meals using food that required refrigeration, but due to the power outage and the hot weather, our frozen and fridge items went bad. This completely disrupted our plans and was extremely frustrating. The least they could have done was provide enough light for us to enjoy the evenings outdoors, but even that wasn’t considered.

The final blow came when we were promised compensation for the inconvenience. After agreeing to a settlement, the host and property owners only paid half of what was agreed upon. When we tried to communicate with them about this, they were rude and dismissive, offering no further assistance.

Our excitement for this holiday quickly turned into disappointment, as the host's lack of care and interest in our well-being ruined what should have been a relaxing getaway. I am appalled at the disrespect and inconsideration we received. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a stress-free vacation.
