Threatened to take our deposit without delivering

We paid R22,342.60 to install borehole pump and Shorty was supposed to install by latest today. We phoned early this morning, and they just do not phone back, and when you get hold of them, they have 10 000 excuses. We spoke to the owner, Wikkie, and he said that he will not install the pump, and also not pay back the money, and said we can proceed with legal action, which we now have done, but it is unnecessary, and suppliers like this should not be in business.
