Arrogant owner, no customer satisfaction or relationship.

I tried to be positive with Wikkie when a pump he repaired failed after running only two hours. He did not want to hear my story, continuously interrupting me to ask what outcome I had in mind. The pump had stood as a spare between September 2018 and April 2019, so I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I wanted to give him information so he could improve his service, but his arrogance was unbearable. I had two identical pumps on a swimming pool / Jacuzzi setup, running about five years - and a third on a water feature, an old pump recovered from a building project. One of the two - the water seal went, then the bearings. I tried to fix it but eventually replaced it. When the older water feature pump failed, I found Wikkies and took both to have them fixed. The older one went back to the water feature (and has worked fine since then) and the replaced one went to be a spare. So when the second of the identical pumps failed in the same fashion as the first, I simply replaced the broken one with Wikkies’ repaired one. It ran for two hours then tripped the earth leakage. It was hot to the touch but dry inside. The impeller still turned. Sam told me that the windings were gone. I then said that as the seal and bearings had not worked, they could use the one to rebuild the other. Sam’s feedback was that the bearings and seal were old and not worth using. I was surprised as the pump had not worked. Even failing so soon after their repair and testing – what are the chances? Wikkie has no interest in customer satisfaction. When questioning what outcome I wanted, I asked if other customers had complained – his answer was that the other customers were none of my business. What does that tell you?
