High monopoly - High Prices - Horrible Quality

I’ve been complaining about the pricing and quality for a while now amongst friends and family, as the Wiesenhof cafes have a clear monopoly at many hospitals. It seems they believe that they can charge what they want with rather low quality food and service. It’s absolutely gross of their leadership to run their business this way and taking advantage of the people stuck at the hospitals with no other close-by options. They need more competition to keep them honest…

Today’s disappointing experience pushed me to log this complaint: I ordered Avo on Toast (takeaway) which sounds very appealing on their menu, for R80. When it came, it was literally pieces of toast stacked with a bit of avo cut up and plumped all over the toast pieces. They were kind enough to provide some butter on the side.

So, where in your right mind is that justifiable as a dish called Avo on Toast, and you have the nerve to charge me R80 for this, without a side of chips even? If this reaches the leadership of Wiesenhof, please take measures to improve on your quality and pricing as we, the public, are seeing right through the **** of monopoly play. We do not appreciate being taken advantage of in our most vulnerable position when visiting ill loved ones in hospital.
