Wicked Creations completely unreliable
<p>I ordered a birthday cake for my daughters 1st Birthday, 2 and a halfs months before her birthday I met with Janine from Wicked Creations to discuss my requirements, in that week she sent me a quotation which I accepted. I followed up with her again in December to confirm the cake requirements. In the first week of January I emailed her, paid her and confirmed on more then two occassions that my daughters cake would be ready on the 7th. Come the 7th at 12:30 pm my cake had not been delivered as agreed. I waited a while as it was raining heavily and though she was running late. I called her at 14:30 to ask her where my cake was? to which she nonchalantly rep****"I thought that thr birthday was tomorrow" I obviously was upset after months of planning to ensure my little girls birthday was perfect, she ended up not having a cake on her first birthday!!!! Janine still had the nerve to ask me if she should deliver the cake tomorrow or do I want a refund?" What the hell was I going to do with a three tier cake the next day???? It does not end there, when I contacted her to ask for my money back she said that she could not refund me because she used the money for ingredients to bake a cake I did noy get!!! I paid her R1750.00 So in other words she used all the money for ingredients for a cake which means her labour is for free?! This was not my fault she messed up, How do you run a cake business and you dont know when your clients require their cake even after I confirm with her more then twice!!!!! To add insult to injury on the 7th of January she uploaded pics of other cakes she'd baked, so clearly my money funded all of those cakes and clearly she over booked herself!!!! According to her she was sooooo busy in December if this is the case why does she have a friggin cash flow problem and why is it now my problem?????!!!!!! So she can only pay me back on the 30th of January. The money is one issue, but I lost alot more then that, I will never ever get that day back, I am so mad because I let my daughter down!!! Parents I don't want this to happen to any of you hence the reason for the review, what is a birthday party for a child without a cake???</p>
