Vortex Binoculars Service and Repair.

Whylo Distributers in Durban, near Gateway Shopping center are agents for Vortex Binoculars. I had a scruffy second hand pair delivered to their store in the hope that they could be cleaned up and new neck strap and case to purchase. The focus wheel was also loose. Optimistic in my pursuit to get my bino's back I called the store, introduced myself and suggested what service and repair the optics were in need of. Ross the chap I was now dealing with confidently assured me that the results would be great, and within approx 10 days by Binoculars would be ready to be returned to me. True to his word Ross called and asked for my forwarding address. I asked if the necessary actions had been taken and he assured me that they had. I wanted to pay the courier fees, but Ross swiftly moved on to source my address and said the package would arrive within 3 days. Again as told the package arrived via courier, and this ia where I was impressed beyond ALL expectations. The good were packaged in 3 inner layers, bubble wrapped, moved and finally in waterproof shrink wrapped outer layer, and tied with thick string too. Getting to my serviced bino's I hardly recognized them, so good looking, clean and fitted with brand new focus wheel, neck strap and eye relief cups. Are these really mine? A brand new Vortex case too booth was also included as well as my old tardy one. I cannot quite tell you in simple tens how impressed and grateful I am for the impeccable service received, but to finally top it off..... at Zero cost to me. How absolutely amazing is that.
