Poor Service
On the 9th of September 2020 I started renting a vehicle from Why Buy Cars. I was paying on the 9th of every month. On the 1st of December 2020 I had to take the car for an inspection, having still days left on my rental agreement. I was told on the 1st of December 2020 that they can't release the car as I owe the almost R 7.00, after a paid the R 7.00 I was told the owe me close to R 600.00, on the same day after this I was told I can't take the vehicle I have to pay another month's rent before I can take the vehicle, while still having 9 days left on my rental agreement.
On the 1st of March 2021 I had to take the vehicle in as it was due for a service. On my way to their office at O.R. Thambo a stone chipped the windscreen of the vehicle. Upon arrival at their office I informed the attendant in the parking area. I have already paid for the month of March 2021 and was told I can't get another vehicle until the windscreen has been repaired, leaving me stranded and not caring at all. I was told by one of the people behind the desk I need to leave or the will remove me by force.
On the 1st of March 2021 I spoke to Dinesh and he assured me that the money I have paid to them for the March rental of the vehicle will be paid within 7 days. Before I left their offices I did an inspection with one of their employees and signed the inspection report with only the chip in the window, a few days later I received an invoice for a chipped windscreen which is correct and also for a dent in the vehicle.
It's the 15th of March and I have not yet received my payment for one month and 9 days from them, Dinesh is ignoring all my communication to him.
