Poor and *****ulent service

If you think to buy from Webuycars, think twice! I bought a car (auction) Three payment was made: the deposit, the balance of the purchase price and the transport cost to have the car delivered to a branch near me. I only received ONE invoice, for the balance of the purchase price. The refuse to issue any other invoice for the other two payments. This also means that the VAT they have to pay to SARS will not include the other two amounts and there was VAT also applicable on the other two amounts.

The other problem was that the do not respond to calls, whattsapps or email. (Richmond branch) After the told me that I could fetch the car, nobody knew anything at the other branch. They also battled to communicate and it took half a day to release the car.

The car was advertised as roadworthy, a roadworthy voucher was issued, but the car failed roadworthy (brake light not working, numberplate lights dead, righthand side mirror was hanging loose they tried to glue it with silicone, wheel spanner and the lever to jack the car up also missing) I was promised that they will send it to me, two months later, still waiting) To make it worse, the battery was dead as well.

I raised a concern on their website, nothing happened. I will contact SARS to notify them that they do not pay VAT on all the funds they receive.

Make sure you deal with a dealer, even if it means that you pay more, but at least you can be assured of better service!!
