Whitfields - Levy

I pay my levies promptly each month with out fail. Even though I do noy dont get my levy statement on time. I received this from Whitfield after having paid my levy. This is a friendly reminder to please pay your levies. Our records show an amount of ***XX as overdue on your account.

If you have paid the overdue amount in the last few days, thank you. Your payment will reflect on your account shortly and you may view your statement online via your scheme's website in the coming days. If there are older payments not reflecting, thus causing the account to reflect as being in arrears, please send us proof of such payments so that we can allocate them. If you are not in agreement with the amount owing, please contact us urgently. Note that interest is charged on all overdue accounts.

Arrear accounts are handed to debt collectors for collection. Whittields is not a debt collector. All costs associated with collections on overdue amounts are payable in line with Annexure B of the Debt Collectors Act, 2003. The debt collector will act as "operator" as defined by POPIA in the fulfilment of the scheme's duties. Your details will be disclosed for the sole purpose of arrear collections.

This is astounding after paying my levies on time for the past 10 years or so.
