Very unpleasant situation........
There is a leak in my rental property for the past several months now. The unit upstairs has an overflow from their geyser which is causing a constant drip into the property that I am renting. It has become quite unbearable as my lawn looks like a swamp. The body corporate of Whitfield have promised on many occasions that this will be fixed soon, but these are just empty promises. NOTHING ever gets done. Its just not fair that we have to live like this.

09 Nov 2020, 15:53Gail I'm not sure why your issue hasnt been resolved. The trustees of your scheme must resolve the issue through the appointment of a contractor to resolve. There is no such a thing as The body corporate of Whitfields. Whitfields as the administrator acts on instruction from trustees of your scheme.

I don't know all the specifics about Trustees and Body Coporate etc., I just feel that you as the Managing agents/administrators of Linridge Complex should get involved and do something. I just rent here. The poor owner of this unit is not going to like the damage that this constant dripping water is doing to his unit and I hope he takes action against somebody!!

So perhaps in future you should investigate with your owner, before you post nasty comments with 1 star reviews , and point fingers at Whitfields, who dont attend to maintenance at Linridge as part of our SLA, as it is a trustee function.
