******** ACTION ADVISED

I live in a complex in greenstone, where I am behind on my rental with my Landlord.

The apartment had prepaid meters, into which each tenant pays his/her own electricity to avoid the problem of the landlord being stuck with the bill.

The estate manager however advised my landlord to contact the Meter company and advise them to disconnect my utilities until my rent has been paid.

On hearing this from the landlord, I approached Whitfields and spoke to Kelly Cremer, who in the beginning of the conversation believed it was lawful to do this, but by then end of the conversation was rather abrupt insisting they do not deal with tenants and will not comment on what she does not know if the estate manager had said.

I was calling them more on a courtesy basis of, the estate managers are dishing out information of an ******* nature, yet, she took offence and ended my call.

Can someone explain to me, why this would not be taken up seriously, as a property management company, you would surely not want advice such as this being passed around.
